Nonfunctioning Parathyroid Carcinoma

Abstract

|
Parathyroid carcinoma is a rare lesion, and among them nonfunctioning parathyroid carcinoma is very rare.
The incidence of hyperfunctioniiig parathyroid carcinoma is about 0.5%-4% of the patient with primary hyperparathyroidism. But the incidence of nonfunctioning parathyroid carcinoma is unavailable because of few reports_ We were able to find only 12 cases of the nonfunctioning parathyroid carcinoma in the literature.
We experienced one case of nonfunctioning parathyroid carcinoma in 51 year old female, which was confirmed clinically and microscopically.
